The Lead assists the Area Lead/Supervisor/Manager by supervising staff and performing food service functions while complying with park policies, health code regulations, and cost/ inventory control standards. The pay for this position is $19.20 per hour.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Additional duties may be assigned. Management retains the discretion to change or add to the duties of this position at any time.
Take and record regular inventory of food and serving supply stock
Supervise rotation and marking for food stock to ensure proper inventory movements
Maintain par levels established by the Manager by ordering food from the Distribution Center
Check incoming orders and notify Distribution Center of order discrepancies immediately
Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with established safety and health guidelines
Complete, process, and file daily reports to include Profit and Loss, Sales Summary, Hourly Reports, Spoilage Reports, etc.
Maintain adequate food preparation levels in accordance with par levels established by Manager
Assist with till distribution, and register opening, balancing, and closing
Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and food standards in compliance with health department and food service standards and guidelines
Perform duties as Team Member according to staffing demands
All other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
These are carried out in accordance with applicable safety policies and laws. Responsibilities include:
Provide direct support to restaurant Assistant Lead and team member staff
Assist with training and coaching staff
Schedule part-time employees in accordance with approved budget
Address complaints and resolve issues
Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through interaction, feedback, and adherence to expected levels of staff performance
Appraise, reward, and discipline employees
Perform periodic inspections on restaurant and staff; notify leadership of strengths and weaknesses in the operations
Ensure proper and on time opening and closing of operations
Ensure staff adherence to proper grooming and costume standards
Ensure staff adherence to proper hospitality procedures
Ensure staff adherence to health and safety regulations; ensuring safety guidelines are signed by employees and submitted monthly

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Some college experience preferred
Minimum of two years’ previous food service preferred
At least one year experience supervising a minimum of 20 employees preferred
