What We Do:

Enterprise Support (ES) Consolidates accountability for all technology support services across the Bank. Coordinates with National IT on matters of shared infrastructure, system processes and end user technologies across the System to enable seamless delivery and support. Collaborates closely with Enterprise Platforms and Capabilities (EPC), Markets Technology (MT), and Enterprise Architecture (EA) to deliver standard infrastructure capabilities/products, infrastructure engineering, provisioning and deployment of infrastructure components. Oversees infrastructure and operations support processes to ensure stability and continuous improvement of the production environments. Manages full life cycle of End-User technology. Cultivates and maintains excellent relationships with service providers and vendors. This position reports to the Director of Infrastructure Engineering.

Your role as Enterprise Platforms Manager within Infrastructure Engineering Department:

Responsible for the effective enablement and management of infrastructure technologies supporting new and existing products and services. Collaborates closely with Delivery Directors in Enterprise Platforms and Capabilities (EPC) and Markets to deliver infrastructure capabilities/products, infrastructure engineering, provisioning and deployment of infrastructure components, and transition activities to Operations. Outcomes will include modified support model for agile delivery and cloud adoption. On-demand infrastructure provisioning to support rapid application change and infrastructure scaling utilizing agile and programmable infrastructure. Improved speed and flexibility by becoming more nimble and better leveraging vendors.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians who provision, configure and deploy infrastructure components for SaaS, commercial off the shelf applications and platforms for the enterprise (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceNow, OpenShift)
  • Manage staff allocation across multiple EPC and Markets squads to ensure that all active and future projects are appropriately resourced with engineering expertise
  • Ensures all support functions and appropriate support tools are transitioned to operational support for new implementations
  • Provide non-functional requirements for new and existing SaaS, COTS products, platforms and services
  • Participate and contribute to drafting business cases from an infrastructure perspective and provide infrastructure and staff resource estimates/forecasts for projects
  • Responsible for analyzing technology human capital needs, incoming technology demand and to plan and assess resource allocation
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture on enterprise wide Infrastructure solutions and designs
  • Responsible hiring, training and mentoring staff and ensuring that team members skillsets are kept up to date with changes in technologies in alignment with the overall Technology Group strategy

What we are looking for:

  • A dynamic leader who has excellent communication skills and excels at fostering collaboration and driving change with a track record of success in delivering on strategic initiatives.
  • Experienced at empowering teams to promote ownership, excel at decision making and creates an environment where team members can develop skills together.
  • Experience in leading teams implementing and supporting enterprise SaaS and COTS applications, platforms (open shift) and environments; a track record of success implementing automation capabilities to improve infrastructure efficiency and supportability.
  • Strong understanding of features and capabilities of Amazon Web Services
  • Good understanding of agile principles and development methodologies
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams of technologists supporting multiple stakeholders; openness to, and the ability to deal with, rapid change in business needs, processes and technologies.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships across the Bank and the System by balancing multiple stakeholder interests and building partnerships.

Salary Range: $204800 - $380300 / year
