Computational Linguist

Location: Miami, FL

Schedule: 8-hour shift, from 8 AM to 5 PM

Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing tasks related to client projects, ensuring that the team adheres to project requirements and that the development aligns with client specifications. The ideal candidate will have a background in linguistics or a related field, with a strong understanding of language processing. This position is based in Miami and requires a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with the Natural Language Processing team to ensure accurate and efficient data annotation.
• Evaluate data annotation tools to optimize productivity and accuracy.
• Design and/or review data annotation guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
• Coordinate the preparation of training, testing, and validation datasets to support AI development.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in data annotation or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge in NLP.
• Familiarity with transformer-based language models such as BERT and GPT, or any other.
• Proficiency in Python programming is a plus.
• Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
