Administer various employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and retirement plans.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Resolve employee inquiries regarding benefits eligibility, coverage, and claim procedures.
Compliance and Reporting:
Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits programs.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and prepare required government reporting.
Assist with audits and respond to requests for information from auditors.
Analysis and Strategy:
Analyze benefits data, trends, and costs to provide recommendations for plan design improvements.
Conduct benchmarking studies to compare company's benefits offerings with competitors and industry standards.
Partner with HR leadership to develop strategies for enhancing employee benefits satisfaction and retention.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate with benefits providers, brokers, and consultants to resolve issues and optimize service delivery.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with benefits vendors to ensure cost-effective services.
Communication and Education:
Develop and deliver employee communications related to benefits programs, including open enrollment materials, newsletters, and workshops.
Conduct educational sessions for employees to increase understanding of benefits options and utilization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
2 years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in a corporate environment.
Knowledge of benefits regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA) and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP).
