Job Description

PSA Airlines is immediately seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to join our Dayton, OH Team!

The Supervisor of Maintenance at PSA ensures the safety of customers and employees by supervising all on-shift personnel, ensuring proper maintenance execution, and preparing aircraft for release. They maintain a safe and compliant work environment, schedule adequate coverage, and prepare reports on delays, cancellations, and irregularities for the Maintenance Manager. The role involves signing maintenance releases, coordinating operational planning, liaising with various departments, and ensuring proper tool use. The Supervisor is available for consultation on maintenance decisions, supervises the Lead Mechanic, and oversees the Security & Safety Management System (SMS) and related safety outputs.

PSA Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor Requirements:

  • Must have High school diploma or GED
  • Must have current FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification
  • Must have 3 yrs. Specific Part 121 Air Carrier Aviation Maintenance Experience or relevant Military Experience
  • Must possess/have the ability to obtain a U.S. Passport/equivalent (within 90 days of start date)
  • Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs, & occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must have strong communication skills with the ability to speak, read, & write in English
  • Must be comfortable in a non-union role that is tasked with supervising union workers
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
