We are seeking a highly skilled business analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
The business analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct data analysist, and develop actionable insights to support decision-making.
This role requires the candidate to have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication and problem-solving skills abilities, and a passion for innovation, a positive proactive approach to problem-solving and for uncovering insights from data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for new projects or enhancements to existing systems.
Process Analysis: Evaluate Banxso's current business processes to identify areas for improvement, streamline workflows, and optimize operational efficiency.
Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive Banxo's business decisions and enhance performance.
Data Quality: clean, organize and assess the quality of the data being used for analysis, including metrics such as completeness, consistency timeliness and the relevance of the data.
Data Processing: collect, clean, develop and preprocess data before analysis which will assist to identify bottlenecks in the data pipeline, workflow and improve efficiency for data processing.
Insight generation: perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and lead insights for actionable analytics for recommendations for the business.
Solution Design: Develop comprehensive solution designs and functional specifications based on Banxso's business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
Project Management: Assist in project planning, tracking, and management activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time
Data visualization effectiveness: ensure the effectiveness of the data and create impactful data visualizations and communicate insights, findings, and metric to stakeholders
Testing and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, provide data driven insights and recommendations by evaluating the impact of outputs to achiever broader business objectives such as increasing revenue opportunities, reducing cost, improving customer satisfaction, optimizing business processes to ensure the quality of deliverables meets business expectations
Training and Documentation: Provide training and create documentation for end-users to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new systems or processes
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to drive continuous improvement across the organization
Problem-solving skills: the ability to manage and solve complex problems using data-driven approaches by applying statistical techniques.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems or related field.
5 years proven as a business analyst preferably in a FinTech/Online trading environment
Certification in Business Analysis is desirable but not required
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
Excellent communication skills, both written a verbal with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Solid understanding of business process modelling techniques and methodologies.
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, VBA, MS Access, Visio, Compeak and project management software.
Experience with big data technologies.
Proficient in SQL for querying databases and extracting data
Experience with data visualizations tools such Power BI
Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms
