Vice President of Talent Acquisition - Early Childhood Education (ECE)


A leading provider of private school education is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Talent Acquisition to join our Early Childhood Education (ECE) team. This key role requires a strategic leader with a robust background in talent acquisition to oversee and elevate our talent acquisition operations. Your mission will be to attract and retain top talent within our ECE division, supporting a vibrant and diverse workforce of educators. This is a unique opportunity to lead a professional team and drive initiatives that align with our commitment to delivering high-quality education and fostering personal growth.


Responsibilities:


Talent Acquisition Strategy:

- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire top talent for the ECE division.

- Collaborate with executive leadership to align talent acquisition strategies with organizational goals and objectives.

- Identify and implement innovative sourcing techniques and channels to reach a diverse pool of candidates.


Recruitment Process Management:

- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting and sourcing to interviewing, selection, and onboarding.

- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for critical and high-volume roles within the ECE division.


Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition professionals, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery across the organization.

- Provide training and development opportunities for the talent acquisition team to enhance their skills and performance.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.


Partnerships and Employer Branding:

- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, professional organizations, and industry associations to support talent acquisition efforts.

- Develop and promote our employer brand to attract top talent.

- Represent the organization at job fairs, conferences, and other recruitment events.


Diversity and Inclusion:

- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the talent acquisition process.

- Develop strategies to ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce within the ECE division.

- Monitor and report on diversity metrics and progress.


Data and Analytics:

- Utilize data and analytics to drive talent acquisition decisions and strategies.

- Develop and maintain recruitment metrics and dashboards to track the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.

- Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on talent acquisition performance.


Compliance:

- Ensure all talent acquisition practices comply with legal requirements and company policies.

- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.

- Conduct regular audits of recruitment processes and policies to identify areas for improvement.


Essential Skills & Experience:

- Education: Master's Degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a talent acquisition leadership position, leading a team of 15 professionals.


Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.

- In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, labor laws, and regulations.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

- Experience in recruiting teachers or nurses is a plus.


Other Details:

-Salary: $175 - 215K plus bonus

-Travel Required: Yes, 25%

- Telecommute: 50%
