Rental Coordinator

Talascend is current seeking a Rental Coordinator for a position located in Calumet City, IL.

The Rental Coordinator Position:

We are looking for a skilled Tool Rental Coordinator to assist customers in selecting the appropriate tool rentals, place rental orders, and ensure timely delivery of orders.

Additionally, this role will involve overseeing the repair check-in process, shipping and receiving and rental/repair logistics.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting the appropriate tool rental for their job needs.
• Place rental orders and ensure they are prepared and shipped out on time.
• Ensure customers receive the proper tool for the job and provide quotes for rental and repair services.
• Conduct inspection to ensure the tool is ready to ship, and verify order accuracy before shipment.
• Address any customer concerns and communicate repair updates.
• Work directly with the Repair Manager to manage the repair process.
• Oversee the repair check-in process, including entering customer and repair information.
• Assist with counterwork, including answering inquiries and processing orders.
• Follow up with customers to provide quotes and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Shipping and receiving for both rental and repair.
  
  

Other duties as assigned Required Experience and Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of experience or previous experience in tool rental and repair coordination preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proven computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
