Project Manager - DevSecOps

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team and provide critical project management support to the DEVSECOPS Center of Excellence (DCE) within PEO Digital. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the lead engineer team and leverage your technical project management expertise to facilitate agile practices and ensure the successful execution of engineering projects. Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in driving engineering efforts across PEO Digital, making this a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and technically savvy professional.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the lead engineer team to plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives
• Apply agile project management practices to optimize project delivery, including sprint planning, backlog management, and continuous improvement
• Coordinate and communicate project status, progress, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to define project requirements and scope
• Facilitate the resolution of technical challenges and roadblocks to keep projects on track
• Implement project management best practices and standards to ensure project success
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field
• 3-5 years of proven experience in technical project management, with a preference for candidates with a background in engineering or technical fields
• Strong knowledge of agile project management methodologies and tools
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)
• Familiarity with DEVSECOPS principles and practices is highly desirable
• Security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required
