Job Description:

ANGARAI is looking for a Mentor and Coach to support its projects with various government

agencies.

Conducting a baseline review of the strengths and weaknesses of the Team and the learning and development objectives of the Team, its leaders, and members.Providing one-to-one coaching, training, and support in leadership and management in topical areas as needed, including facilitation skills, group process, and decision-making;Providing small group coaching, training, and support in leadership and management, including communications and team building skills;Facilitating one or more communications, skills development, and team building workshops for the entire Team, or segments of the Team;Presentation of findings outlining what was learned during the engagement and recommendations for the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a comprehensive baseline review of the team's current strengths, weaknesses, and performance indicators.
  • Identify learning and development objectives for individual team members, team leaders, and the team as a whole.
  • Provide personalized one-to-one coaching sessions to team leaders and members to enhance their leadership and management skills.
  • Facilitate small group coaching sessions focusing on specific areas like communication, team building, and leadership development.
  • Organize and lead workshops aimed at improving communication, skills development, and team-building capabilities for the entire team or specific segments.
  • Collaborate with team leaders and HR to design and deliver customized training programs to address specific skill gaps.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of coaching, training, and workshops through feedback and performance assessments.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive findings and recommendations to stakeholders based on the assessment results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in conducting training needs assessments, coaching, and facilitating workshops.
  • Strong knowledge of leadership and management principles, group dynamics, and team development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective learning and development initiatives.
  • Understanding of various coaching and training methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable strategies.
