TurnPoint Search is partnering with a growing insurance firm to hire an HR Coordinator. You will be responsible for providing support to the HR Manager, ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of HR processes and procedures. This role involves handling various HR tasks including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and benefits administration. The HR Coordinator will serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and will assist in the implementation of HR policies and programs. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the recruitment process by posting job ads, partnering with recruitment vendors, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinating the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and facilitating new hire orientation.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and electronic.
- Assisting employees with benefits enrollment and addressing any questions or issues related to benefits.
- Coordinating with benefits providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits.
- Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensuring employees are aware of and understand HR policies through regular communication and training sessions.
- Preparing and submitting required HR reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Assisting in organizing HR-related events and initiatives, such as training sessions and employee engagement activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR support role.
- Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented and proactive with a strong problem-solving mindset.
Position pays a base salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skill level. There is also the potential for a discretionary bonus.
