QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated superior oral and written communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of community mental health work and social work systems. Experience in these services preferred.
  • At least 2 years previous experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Thorough knowledge of general office procedures.
  • Ability to learn and adopt Griffith Centers policies and procedures and licensing and accreditation regulations, and to apply such knowledge when assisting with accreditation processes, policy reviews and outcomes data management.
  • Experience in accurately preparing letters, reports, spreadsheets and related correspondence.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Database familiarity a plus.
  • Able to work with sensitivity to the cultural and/or socioeconomic diversity of the agency’s clients and staff.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Experience working for a non-profit agency.


Job Expectations/Responsibilities:

  • Ethical and Quality Standards
  • Knowledgeably administer the clinical aspects of the Griffith Centers, according to standards of quality.
  • Flexible schedule to meet staff, client, and program needs.
  • Report critical incidents to the Clinical Program Supervisor and/or Director of Outpatient Mental and Behavioral Health
  • Orient new service providers.
  • Oversight of all billing-related tasks on a weekly basis (invoices & notes).
  • Assist with interviews of potential providers and with the termination of contracts.
  • Public relations, and collaboration with clinical supervisors and providers.
  • Attend recurring meetings with referrals sources to ensure location needs are being met and adjusting program(s) to better fit community needs and requirements.
  • Support with data analysis, and report development. Continuous Improvement
  • Engage in continuous professional development opportunities.
  • Recognize problems and actively contribute to their resolution.
  • Participate in relevant Griffith Centers meetings.
  • Demonstrate professional and personal concern for clients’ health and safety.
  • Maintain healthy and professional boundaries.


Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to walk up and down stairs.
  • Lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds.
