Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst with Process Mapping (SwimLane) experience.
Ideal candidate will have experience as a Business Process Analyst (2-3 years).
Proficient in Process Mapping (SwimLane) and Root Cause Analysis.
Summary: The Remote Business Process Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting process improvement initiatives, translating client requirements into actionable process maps and documentation, and driving process optimization across the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiencies.
Job Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate current processes using tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma analysis, fishbone, Five Why, and Pareto.
Develop high-level and detailed process maps that capture client workflows and requirements, integrating all stakeholder inputs.
Support enterprise-wide process optimization projects, ensuring full upstream and downstream impacts are understood and acted upon.
Maintain and update process documentation (SOPs) to reflect current practices, including governance and approval mechanisms.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, present updates, and secure sign-offs on process changes.
Support process change management needs for stakeholders, impacted employees, and customers.
Track and report on time spent on activities related to process mapping and documentation.
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an understanding of key metrics and trends.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to manage expectations and build consensus.
Ability to work independently and navigate complex organizational structures.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in process design and improvement.
Familiarity with process modeling tools and techniques, including the creation of SwimLane diagrams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to operate effectively both strategically and operationally as required.
