Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist at Temporal Technologies will manage vendor spend across our key AP systems (NetSuite, Bill.com, and Navan), establish process documentation, and implement controls to ensure best-in-class standards. This position requires an experienced accounts payable professional with an excellent analytical mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

What You’ll Do

  • Invoice processing and reconciliation: Manage the review, approval, and processing of vendor invoices, ensuring all invoices have been received, properly coded, and adhere to company policies and procedures. Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable ledger to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Vendor set-up and communication: Manage the vendor setup process, including verifying vendor information and maintaining accurate records in the AP system. Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and handle payment inquiries timely and effectively.
  • Travel card management and expense reimbursements: Manage the review and processing of Navan expense transactions and international employee expense reimbursements, ensuring all transactions have proper documentation according to company policies and procedures.
  • Payment processing: Manage and oversee the preparation and processing of payments to vendors.
  • Reporting, analysis, and compliance: Prepare and distribute reports on accounts payable activities as needed. Maintain vendor files including W9 forms and preparation of annual 1099s. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Month-end close: Assist with month-end close activities including preparation of journal entries, accrual, and account reconciliations.
  • Process improvement: Proactive approach to identify potential issues and lead efforts to improve the accounts payable processes, increase efficiency and improve reporting.
  • Assist in annual audits and other projects as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelors or Associate’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred.
  • At least 4 years of progressive accounts payable and accounting experience in technology companies.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Bill.com, and Navan expense management platform.
  • Utilize good judgment with the ability to learn on the fly, can be nimble and able to work independently.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • A service-oriented mindset when dealing with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated with a sense of urgency and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present results of analysis.

Compensation

  • The estimated pay range for this role is $99,200 - $124,000
  • This role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan

Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation (when applicable) across several geographic markets. Employment offers carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, knowledge, expertise, skillset, market location, and job level assessed during the interview process.
