Long-Term Teachers are working with a number of fantastic special educational needs schools that are constantly seeking dedicated learning mentors to join their team. There are opportunities for flexible supply work to suit your current schedule as well as longer-term positions.

About The Role

  • Supporting the classroom teacher in managing the class and supporting students in focusing and engaging in their learning
  • Get the classroom ready for lessons
  • Supervise group activities or work with students on a 1:1 basis, depending on need
  • Provide a healthy and safe learning environment for children
  • Build meaningful and long-lasting relationships to help students excel both academically, socially and emotionally

About You

  • Previous experience working with children is essential
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable
  • Must be adaptable and willing to get ‘stuck in’
  • Must be able to drive and have access to your own car
  • Must be passionate, empathetic and aspire to make a difference
  • Have an enhanced DBS
