Business Analyst IT

As Business Analyst you are involved in defining and implementing the Enterprise Architecture Domain for the Ewals Group which contributes to the implementation of the strategy of Ewals Cargo Care. You will advise and challenge the organization on projects and prioritization of projects. Moreover, you support in processes within the enterprise architecture domain, f.e. you perform quality checks on modelling of processes, application integrations and data patterns. You will help determine principles and, once determined, make sure the principles are followed. Your goal is to contribute to the implementation of the strategy and to make the organization future proof.

When you sign your first employment contract before July 1st, 2024, you will receive a starting premium of € 1,000.00!

What will you do?

As our business analyst you cooperate with our architecture community consisting of several domain architects. The integral enterprise is within your scope. You connect the goals and strategy of business functions and processes with the application landscape and underlying technology and data. You will work closely together with stakeholders in the business and IT.

Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Are The Following

• Contribute to the Architectural Design committee (ADC) consisting of different domain architects;
• Contribute to developing the enterprise architecture to ensure the realization of the strategic roadmap of the organization;
• Prepare and present specific topics for the ADC;
• Analyze the business strategy and translate this into concrete future proof solutions;
• Challenging all contributors of the enterprise architecture modelling and performance quality checks;
• Implement continuous improvement ideas within the enterprise architecture domain.
  
  

How will you get here?

What We’re Looking For In Our New Colleague

• Master degree in Informatics, Engineering or ICT;
• Solid experience, preferably in an international and logistic environment;
• You’re able to communicate and easily align with different stakeholders and levels in the organization;
• You have a holistic view, pragmatic approach and strategic mindset;
• Good knowledge of the English language, Dutch is a plus;
• Knowledge and experience with the TOGAF framework and specifically Archi is a plus;
• Knowledge of different architecture concepts, specific knowledge WRT application integration and data integration is a plus;
• Knowledge of trends and innovation within IT.
  
  

Potentially, depending on competences and personal developments, the business analyst could be promoted to Enterprise Architect.
