6 Years of experience in QA/Software Testing/Manual Testing
Ecommerce or ads experience is a plus.
Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts, and automated scripts.
Execute all levels of testing including but not limited to : System, Integration, and Regression.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Background in Ecommerce or advertising-related projects is highly advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Test Case Development :
Develop comprehensive and detailed test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
Document test data, data validation procedures, harness scripts, and automated scripts to support testing efforts.
Ensure that test cases cover all aspects of the software application, including functional, non-functional, and edge cases.
Testing Execution
Execute various levels of testing, including System, Integration, and Regression testing, to verify software functionality and performance.
Identify, record, and prioritize defects using bug tracking tools and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Conduct ad-hoc testing as needed to validate specific features or functionalities.
Quality Assurance Methodologies
Apply knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes to drive continuous improvement in testing practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement best practices for quality assurance and testing.
Domain Expertise
Leverage background in Ecommerce or advertising-related projects to provide valuable insights and perspectives during testing activities.
Understand the unique challenges and requirements of the domain to ensure thorough and effective testing.
Communication And Collaboration
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and other team members, to convey testing progress, issues, and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5-11 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on developing and executing test cases for complex software applications.
Experience in Ecommerce or advertising-related projects is highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, as well as documenting test artifacts.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Keen attention to detail and a passion for ensuring software quality and reliability.
