RIMOWA is at a very particular step of its development and if you have an entrepreneur mindset and want to design the supply chain that will support the company’s growth, this job is for you! The Material Analyst (m/f/d) is responsible for leading cross functional activities, in collaboration with Sourcing, Warehouse, Production, Quality and Central Supply Chain at our Headquarter in Cologne, Germany.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop metrics to measure the supplier performance – especially related to procurement and supplier quality, claims rate etc.
  • Map the current process of material flow from suppliers till Production and identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinate with the ERP team to identify processes which could be optimized
  • Analyse the invoice process and suggest enhancements for faster P2P process
  • Responsible for material planning for a select category of suppliers and potentially intercompany orders
  • Liaise with Warehouse team to work with database and development of internal reports
  • Lead certain continuous improvement projects in the field of inventory control, warehouse optimization and material ordering process

Profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or business, ideally with specialization in supply chain management or equivalent
  • Minimum experience of 3 years in supply chain, procurement or material planning roles, ideally in FMCG
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to simplify and communicate on complex topics
  • Exceptional skills with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and data crunching in general
  • Certification in CPIM, CSCP or equivalent is preferred
  • Fluent in German & English is necessary
  • Skill with Procurement Planning Tools is advantageous
