Role Overview:

BRB App Inc. is seeking talented UI/UX Designers to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of our website and innovative mobile app. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of user behavior to design an app that is not only visually appealing but also incredibly functional and user-friendly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conduct user research and collaborate with UX researchers and product managers to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Develop user personas and user journey maps to inform the design process and translate user needs into actionable design solutions.
• Design user interfaces (UI) that are clean, intuitive, visually appealing, user-friendly, and consistent with our brand identity.
• Develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes, and iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing to refine user flows.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure designs are translated effectively into a functional app.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest UI/UX design trends and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing website and mobile app design projects.
• Applicants must provide a clickable link to their online portfolio or website showcasing their previous UI/UX design work. The link should be easily accessible and lead directly to the relevant work samples.
• Proficiency in design software like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for Beauty Tech: A strong interest and passion for the beauty industry and technology. Understanding of the beauty tech landscape and trends would be a plus.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong visual design sense and an eye for detail.

Standout Qualities:

• Certified UX Designer: Certifications in UX design from reputable institutions would be a plus.
• Technical Expert: You have a strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, best practices, and accessibility guidelines for inclusive design. You’re proficient in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, and Figma, and you’re comfortable working with developers to implement your designs.
• Coding Knowledge: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. This will help you understand the technical constraints and possibilities when designing.
• Team Player: Experience in working in a collaborative team environment. You work well in a team setting and are able to collaborate effectively with other designers, developers, and stakeholders. You’re open to feedback and are always looking to learn and grow.
• Experience in designing mobile app interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey your design ideas.
