We are seeking a SVP of Risk & Analytics to be responsible for developing and governing our data and information strategy in order to drive business decisions and growth. You will develop data procedures and policies, and work closely with various departments to collect, prepare, organize, protect, and analyze data assets while ensuring that the company meets industry best practices. Other duties will include leading inter-disciplinary teams, improving and streamlining data systems within the company, and driving innovation.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in data management, leadership, and information technology systems and tools. A strong background in IT, business, and mathematics is advantageous.

  • Manage the overall health of the portfolio, balancing risk and reward so that the business works for customers and shareholders.
  • Drive experimentation and A/B testing that informs business strategies resulting in a more valuable enterprise.
  • Serve as Chair of the Credit Committees for LTO and Snap Loan overseeing consumer credit risk and ensuring accurate record keeping and documentation of Credit Policy
  • Support organizational decision-making through broadly available data and reporting driven by the BI team
  • Lead a Fraud function including analytics and operations that appropriately monitors and controls both operational and fraud expense while developing and implementing a product roadmap in collaboration with our product team to protect our shareholders and customers
  • Support Marketing and D2C in their efforts to drive revenue working closely with the Revenue team.
  • Collaborate with CFO, and Business Segment leaders to deliver value to our customers, our merchant partners and our shareholders by delivering high quality, relevant and timely access to financing.
  • Building a highly qualified, high performing team that improves the business through experimentation and testing.
  • Building strong partnerships with the Executive Leadership that leads to transparency and strong communication that builds trust.

  • Understand the complex interplay of the economy and consumers and likely risks that would face the business
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavioral analytics and the application of those tools to improve business outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years experience in a senior-level Analytics role.
  • At least 7 years Management experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years consumer lending experience with an understanding of the current regulatory landscape.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Analytically minded.
  • Professionalism and ethical behavior.
