As a Solution Consultant, you will be responsible for leading procurement & finance technology implementation projects. In this role you will run client facing workshops to help define their requirements, proposing best practices in procurement, financial processes, and technology utilization. Role Summary:
Play a variety of roles in a project implementation team, which may include Consultant, Trainer, and/or Subject Matter Expert, as needed to ensure a project’s success
Lead process improvement initiatives around procurement and finance best practices, technology utilization, business process design, and leading methodologies
Implement complex software solutions, catered to specific business requirements
Become an expert in multiple S2P solutions to help align business needs, industry best practices and solution capabilities
Provide business leadership to define, document, and articulate solutions to complex modeling problems
Work with client stakeholders to identify business requirements, aligning these with both best practice and solution capabilities
Contribute to the development of project plans and schedules with the internal PM and client project team
Prepare and deliver presentations to client stakeholders including senior executives
Fully document approach, data sources, configurations, assumptions, and constraints
Contribute to thought leadership by developing delivery methodology, white papers, and best practices
Assist in the sales process by demonstrating capabilities to potential clients, supporting project definition and approach, contributing to the development of SOWs and proposals, and delivering focused pilot projects and proof of concept models
Travel could reach up to 50%
Our ideal candidate will have:
A bachelor's degree required
At least 6 years’ experience in procurement, finance and/or SaaS implementations
At least 6 years’ experience in procurement, finance and/or technology solutions
Domain experience in 2 or more of the following: technology implementations, contract management, supplier management, procurement, AP automation, strategic sourcing, change management, user training, project management, training development and/or procurement operations (fulfillment)
A proven record of supporting and/or managing the implementation of improvement projects or technologies relating to the source to pay process
Adaptability – adjusting to changes in a rapidly evolving work environment
The ability to provide structured and creative analysis to identify performance improvement opportunities
The skill and initiative to contribute to and execute project plans and modeling architecture with minimal supervision
Delivery – able to articulate key messages clearly and explain concepts to end users, stakeholders, and executive level audiences
Outstanding written and verbal communication (including presentation) skills are required
Expert level capabilities with Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
