Research And Development Engineer

The R&D Process Engineer role is responsible for developing new processes to manufacture PS products.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project/design risks based on the specification book.
• Make the design of a process based on the specification book.
• Define a project plan.
• Follow-up the project plan from mock-up to serial production transfer: Quality of machine/Budget/Timing.
• Design (CAD drawing) & build special equipment/processes in the areas of mechanical design, electrical design, pneumatic hydraulic design, and automatism design.
• Make documentation for equipment: Quality, Maintenance, & Production.
• Submit innovative ideas and improvements for new processes and contribute to the teams projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in specialty machine design and building and in project management.
• Automotive and textile industry experience (preferred).
• International experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Google Suite, CAD Design software: CREO, Project management software (ex: Smart sheet), Minitab.
