We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Project Management Team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and a skilled leader who can effectively manage the interface between our engineering firm and our clients. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless project execution, maintaining client satisfaction, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Management Team, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to optimize processes and enhance project outcomes.
Leadership: Lead and manage the Project Management Team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
Project Management: Oversee the execution of large-scale solar projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between the engineering firm and its clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships based on trust and mutual understanding.
Communication: Facilitate effective communication between the engineering team and clients, ensuring clear and timely exchange of information, expectations, and deliverables.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the VP of Project Engineering to develop and implement strategic plans, objectives, and initiatives to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
MBA
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale engineering projects, preferably in the solar industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
