Position Overview:

A leading beverage brand is seeking a skilled EDI Analyst to join their dynamic team. The EDI Analyst will play a crucial role in managing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, ensuring seamless data exchange between the company and retail/online partners. This role will focus on validations and collections within the EDI framework, with proficiency in NetSuite.


Responsibilities:

  • EDI Implementation and Maintenance: Configure, implement, and maintain EDI transactions using NetSuite and other relevant systems.
  • Validation Management: Develop and maintain validation rules and procedures to ensure accurate and compliant EDI transactions.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve EDI-related issues, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze EDI data to identify trends, improve processes, and optimize performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure EDI processes comply with industry standards and regulations, including retailer-specific requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain documentation for EDI processes, procedures, and configurations. Generate reports as needed to support business operations.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on EDI processes and systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to EDI systems and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in EDI analysis and implementation, preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetSuite is required.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of EDI standards and protocols (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML), data mapping, and integration processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze EDI data, identify issues, and implement solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot EDI issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Reporting: The EDI Analyst will report directly to the Controller, contributing to financial data integrity and operational efficiency.
