This position has the primary responsibility of supporting the Design Center - Product Design Team by creating drawings, flat patterns for laser nesting, CNC press brake fabrication operations, and other required documentation to support the production team in manufacturing of custom draft beverage dispensing equipment (draft beer, wine, coffee, water, soda, and others). Organizational training will be provided.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following
Collaborates with the Product Design Team to create drawings and documentation for the purpose of manufacturing custom solutions for our certified installer network and customers.
Drawings 2D/3D (AutoCAD, Inventor)
Manufacturing drawings for sheet/tube metal flat patterns
Review BOMs (Bill of Materials)
Assembly or manufacturing instructions as required.
Collaborate with production team to support requests that require design changes.
Provide input to process or procedural improvement while keeping Micro Matic goals in mind.
Performs these and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma with 1 years relevant experience or degree/certification using CAD/3D modeling with 1 year of experience preferred.
Solid knowledge of various engineering disciplines, procedures, and policies is required.
Drafting/GD&T best practices knowledge.
Good communication skills.
Strong decision-making skills are a must.
3D CAD Skills, Autodesk Inventor
Language Skills
Ability to read, comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals
of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages,
ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
