Qualdoc is on the lookout for Class A CDL drivers ready to dive into the thrilling world of remedying train derailments across the region!
As a key player, you'll be responsible for the exhilarating tasks of loading, unloading, and safely transporting equipment and materials to and from job sites. If you're qualified, you'll have the chance to operate equipment onsite, lending your skills to rerailing operations, railroad car maintenance, load adjustment, and even track maintenance, repair, and new construction.

Starting hourly rate of $26/hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience.
Hours worked outside of Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, are compensated at the overtime rate (time and a half).
Additional compensation includes per diem, hotel expenses covered for travel, and layover pay if exceeding scheduled hours.
Job Duties
Conducts pre/post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment, adhering to Company policy and D.O.T. regulations
Participates in safety briefings and discussions to plan daily work efficiently and safely
Prepares materials/equipment for tasks, including moving, loading/unloading, and cleanup
Operates cranes and various equipment for tasks like lifting, rerailing, and track maintenance
Utilizes tools like hydraulic equipment, welding, and electrical tools for assignments
Monitors equipment/vehicles for operational readiness and performs minor service as needed
Assists with equipment disassembly/loading and restocks vehicles/equipment after assignments
Flexible to support other departments/divisions as needed
Maintains adherence to safety policies and procedures and ensures cleanliness of work area/vehicles/equipment
Requirements
Possession of a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record
Experience in construction labor or a physically demanding role
Successful completion of required qualification tests, including training and safety programs
Availability for 24/7 emergency response, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Skills/ Experience:
Extensive experience (3 years) operating various heavy equipment, including backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, loaders, trucks, and more, or equivalent training

Shift Details:
Guaranteed 40 hours of work per week, with ample opportunity for overtime (averaging 60 hours per week)
On-call availability 24/7 to promptly respond to emergencies
Compensation Details:
Hourly rate starting at $26/hour, depending upon experience
