Qualifications
JOB SUMMARY
The Assessment Assistant reports to the Director of Assessment and Technology and is accountable for coordinating data required to meet state participation rates. The responsibilities include pulling data reports to inform principals, managers, teachers, and other stakeholders of state deadlines. This person will additionally serve as part of the student testing personnel and schedule testing with teachers and Principals to ensure that students are being assessed within the state-mandated testing window.
We are looking for someone who insists on maintaining a positive attitude and enjoys supporting a diverse group of people. If this job is for you, you are a self-starter who can successfully handle multiple deadlines simultaneously. You also have excellent communication and collaboration skills with a genuine interest in finding solutions.
This position supports the Five Keys Southern California Academic Program; multiple sites throughout Los Angeles county in the SoCal region. Hours from 8 am - 4 pm.
Responsibilities
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete information for each student tested, administers the appropriate test, and completes the numerical scoring for parts of the test, including CASAS, CAASPP, ELPAC, CCI exams, and any other state-required assessments
Complete testing according to the timelines provided by state and federal guidelines
Prepare materials for testing
Complete initial scoring and review procedures with the assessment manager
Validate Home Language survey data for accuracy of information from student registration forms
Ensure proper execution of assessment policies and keep up to date with changes as they happen
Work collaboratively with school staff by completing various test-related tasks to ensure exams are administered smoothly
Coordinate assessment appointments
Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
