Job Title: Technical Delivery Manager

Locations: London or Ipswich

Due to the sensitive nature of this role you may be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

Why this job matters:

In your role as a Technical Delivery Manager, you’ll bring your technical expertise to bear on interesting and challenging problems within Cyber Security. You will solve real-word problems for customers and deliver solutions in an agile manner and ensure we build exactly what they need to time/cost/quality. You will have the opportunity to learn about a wide range of technologies, hardware, and DevOps practices. The solutions you create will utilise the latest technologies, demonstrate innovation and thought-leadership, and provide brilliant outcomes for customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and implement innovative network solutions to meet customer requirements through technical ownership of projects.
  • Coordinate diverse teams in the delivery and integration of end-to-end solutions across customer business areas.
  • Lead on design assurance ensuring network solutions fully meet the operational, legal and regulatory framework as it applies.
  • Manage and ensure network elements and associated management systems are maintained to meet the demands of business.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the network infrastructure and capability to investigate and resolve issues.

You may bring some of the below experience:

  • Have both a broad and deep knowledge of current core technologies deployed at the transport, network and physical layers
  • Have significant experience of leading the design and delivery of complex technical projects
  • Have the ability to resolve complex problems, demonstrating strong leadership capability and motivate high performing teams
  • Have the presence to build client relationships through excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience of IP networks, including Cisco / Juniper
  • Working knowledge of IT and cloud systems for example Windows Server, AWS
