About The Role

The Personalisation and Experience Learning (PEL) Coordinator fulfils a vital function in the PEL team working closely with course/module leaders and other internal/external stakeholders to support existing and new, innovative, in-curricular experiential learning opportunities for Nottingham Business School (NBS) students. Your responsibilities will also involve evaluating provision to highlight areas of good practice and areas for development throughout the academic year. In addition, you will play an integral role in building case studies and using social media to raise awareness of the ways in which employers can engage in experiential learning opportunities, and to showcase the accomplishments of NBS students.

For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We'll still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly.

Interviews: W/C 29th July

About Us

Nottingham Trent University is a successful and ambitious university that is recognised for its innovation and inclusivity and being bold enough to do things differently.

Nottingham Business School (NBS) prides itself on a highly developed personalisation and experiential learning strategy which supports all students to develop academically, personally and professionally during their time at university. The Personalisation and Experiential Learning team (PEL) drive this strategy via several initiatives. A key area of focus for the team is embedding ‘live’ consultancy projects and other work and work-like experiences within the curriculum so that students learn by doing and actively contribute to ‘real’ organisational challenges. These activities support students’ skills development and future employability, whilst making a discernible difference to organisations locally, nationally and internationally.

For any informal queries about the role or the team, please contact Amanda Thompson or Shelley Clark (Heads of Personalisation and Experiential Learning, NBS) at [email protected] / [email protected]
