Finance Manager

We are looking for someone to be in charge of the end-to-end financial processes and systems of Grain. You will run the department with a view to building a strong in-house team under your leadership. If you believe in delighting customers, have high standards and are resourceful, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate monthly closing to track company performance
• Operate day-to-day finance operations
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure integrity of reporting and compliance with regulations
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
• Provide support on strategic initiatives and decision-making processes
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer delight while collecting payments
• Ensure payments are made to suppliers in an accurate and timely manner
• Work closely with the procurement team to ensure the legitimacy and accuracy of invoices
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficient in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
