We are looking for someone to be in charge of the end-to-end financial processes and systems of Grain. You will run the department with a view to building a strong in-house team under your leadership. Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate monthly closing to track company performance
Operate day-to-day finance operations
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure integrity of reporting and compliance with regulations
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
Provide support on strategic initiatives and decision-making processes
Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer delight while collecting payments
Ensure payments are made to suppliers in an accurate and timely manner
Work closely with the procurement team to ensure the legitimacy and accuracy of invoices
Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time
Competencies / Requirements:
Strong ownerrship and attention to detail

Strong leadership and management skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
Proficient in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting requirements
