About the role
In this role, you will be responsible to manage and support the tax & regulatory function of the Company. The individual will be responsible for ensuring all the necessary compliances in the area of taxation.
What You will do
Procedural compliance with GST laws such as filing of periodical returns, reconciliations, audit reports, replies, etc.;
Should be able to timely prepare various GST returns, DS Returns, TCS Returns and Equalization levy workings
Should be able to perform Reconciliation of ITC with GSTR-2B and TDS Reconciliation with Books;
Should be able to liaise with Statutory auditors, internal auditors and close their queries;
Basic Tax Advisory to the queries raised by the various company department;
Preparation of data for various assessments and litigation proceeding with tax authorities.
Assist in filing reply to the notices, inquiries, letters issued by the GST service tax, Income tax, Customs and VAT authorities and appearance before the authorities.
Proactively engaged in the business transactions, tax issues and other routine tax matters.
What you will need
B.com graduate or CA Intermediate qualified with 1-2 years of experience in taxation
Good knowledge in TDS & GST filing of returns, response to notices
Well versed with direct taxation rules including TDS, WHT on foreign payments
Handled and managed tax audit, statutory audit and internal audit.
