The Team Member HRBP – Product & Tech (JioCinema) is both a strategic and hands-on role and is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in the Product & Technology functions of Jio Cinema, the fastest growing OTT platform in India. Reporting to the Head HRBP – Product & Tech (Jio Cinema), this role is key in formulating partnerships in the Product & Tech teams of the Jio Cinema business and across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives, aligned to the growth needs of the platform.
The role strategically partners and collaborates with the Product & Tech teams of the Jio Cinema business, based in Bengaluru, to onboard them and manage them on a day-to-day basis to ensure business and people agenda is driven at the location. Additionally, the role works closely with HR COEs to design and deliver customised interventions for the Product & Tech teams.
Overall, the role supports the day-to-day HR activities for the Product & Tech teams and acts a critical pillar of HR at the location, along with the Lead HRBP.
What will you do?
Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition
Act as a coach and mentor to leadership to counsel change as needed
Work with the HR leadership team to identify new HR strategies for the teams
Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance to key stakeholder
Work closely with Jio Cinema Product & Tech teams to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention and resolve employee relations issues and address grievances
Collaborate closely with COEs to ensure support on any business specific intervention that may be needed from time to time including studying HR trends and metrics for appropriate decision making and interventions, HR policy guidance and inputs to relevant COEs, learning identification and interventions, top talent management and succession planning and others

Who should apply for this role?
4-6 year of work experience as an HR business partner, including prior work experience in a product tech organization, from a Tier I B-School
Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
Thorough knowledge of labour legislation
Strong understanding of all HR functions and best practices
