Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Chemist - Waste Water Analyst to join our team at Equinox Labs. As a Waste Water Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting tests and analysis on waste water samples, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and identifying any potential environmental risks. This is a full-time position located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, with an employment type of Full-Time. The ideal candidate for this role will have 1 to 3 years of experience as a Chemist or Waste Water Analyst.

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Chemist or Waste Water Analyst
• Sound knowledge of waste water treatment processes and regulatory requirements and parameters like COD, BOD etc
• Proficiency in operating and calibrating laboratory equipment
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a laboratory setting
  
  

Roles And Responsibilities

• Conduct routine tests and analysis on waste water samples using standard laboratory techniques and equipment
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines for waste water treatment and disposal
• Identify any potential environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve waste water-related issues
• Stay updated with the latest developments in waste water analysis techniques and technologies
• Assist in the development and implementation of waste water treatment processes
• Conduct laboratory experiments and research to improve waste water treatment efficiency
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste water samples and chemicals in accordance with safety protocols
