Are you looking for a rewarding administrative role? Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a service support specialist to join our world-class team. As a service support specialist, you will play a crucial role in our mission to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional administrative support to the team, ensuring flawless execution of daily tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully implement and manage administrative processes.
- Compete in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting strict deadlines.
- Determine and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment by actively participating in team meetings and sharing innovative ideas.
- Controlling of 0800 service, opening and monitoring calls and service order, follow up of the test replacement forms.
- Supervision of archiving (physical/electronic) of service orders.
- Purchase order request in the JDE system for Back Office.
- Management of field service schedule.
- Management of the execution/frequency of preventive maintenance.
- Check list reports and closing of work orders for Service Manager.
- Ensure that field and support procedures are in accordance with procedures established by the local Quality department.
- Compile report for CAS research submission from Scientific Advisory and Technical Assistance.
- Update of installed base inventory (equipment and peripherals).
- SDG Key Account Concierge.
- Report monthly AST metrics to Sr.Technical Service Manager in Sweden / France and Brazil.
- Review and update quality procedures in Docnix.
- Occasional monitoring of technical visits to the customer with field engineers focusing on relationships.
- Presentation of internal and external Metrics (Power BI) to clients.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a scientific or healthcare setting.
- Proficient in Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.
- English and Spanish - Intermediate level.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ambitious and self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail.
