Primary Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Supply Chain Analyst will align with internal business partners as well as external customers to deliver analytical solutions. This role will use a variety of analytical tools to build ad hoc and advanced reporting. Synthesize analyses and develop clear and concise communications and presentations to business partners. They will serve as a subject matter expert on analytics and data needed for business partners. Essential Functions

DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering improvement in the customer experience
  • Manage and report on relevant KPIs and provide reporting
  • Develop, create, and implement standard reporting for routine and ad hoc business reports
  • Explore and conduct analysis on business improvement opportunities.
  • Bring deep understanding of customer analytics with the capability of developing analytics and insights across platforms
  • Collaborate cross functionally with IT, Supply Chain, external customers and end users
  • Conducts complex root cause analysis on business problems
  • Identify and develop analytics to support and measure strategies for business partners
  • Synthesize analyses and develop clear and concise communications and presentations to business partners
  • Support integration of strategies, analytics, processes, and tools
  • Identify process improvement opportunities working across internal and external customers.
  • Assess service issues. Provide root cause analysis to resolve chronic problems (either internal or external). Ability to find creative solutions to service issues.
  • Take part in account and customer related programs and special projects to drive efficiencies and continues improvement efforts.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, persuasive and relationship-building aptitudes.
  • Must be able to interpret data into meaningful solutions.
  • Demonstrate a keen attention to detail, be able to communicate across cross-functional teams and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), Access
  • Strong research, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in effective prioritization and adaptability.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction and performance KPI's.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Business, Operations, or Analytics preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of supply chain, logistics, purchasing, logistics accounting or work in the transportation industry required. Prior experience working in a fast-paced foodservice purchasing and/or logistics environment is highly preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand; walk; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 20 pounds.
