Strategy and Organization Development Senior Data Strategist/Analyst

ASI is actively seeking a Consultant who help support the analysis and reporting for an important Department of Homeland Security federal agency’s customer experience strategy.
Objectives:
- Survey Design, Administration, and Analysis – Informally lead and work with teams conducting root cause analysis and action planning, leveraging a range of data collection methods (e.g., targeted surveys, focus groups, interviews). Specific activities for the team may include:
o Design, develop, and deploy customer satisfaction and/or employee surveys
o Provide consultation on survey design, deployment, analysis, and interpretation
o Develop resources and working aids on a range of survey and data collection topics
o Produce survey reports and visualizations using software such as MS Excel, R, and Power BI
o Conducting statistical analyses to include visualizing data and communicating the meaning of the results to non-technical stakeholders,
- Presentation/Meeting Facilitation – Support high quality meeting design and facilitation, creating collaborative, open, and transparent forums for leadership and staff to identify opportunities for improvement of program processes
- Business Process Management and Improvement Support – Provide support for improving processes, policies, and guidance. This may include the development of job aids, procedures, concept of operations, web-based publications and guidance and communication plans
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to obtain and/or possess favorable DHS fitness determination
BA/BS in Statistics/Analysis, Industrial/Organizational psychology (or a related field) and 4-7 years of consulting experience. Masters in IO psych preferred.

• Client-facing experience to include leading communications and strategy, leading follow-up with clients on next steps, and writing crisp and clear client communications
• Can analyze and visualize data while identifying key decision points in data set(s)
• Self-motivated learner with the ability to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – able to lead professional, organized client meetings, create clear and client-ready presentations and documents, and communicate reports/analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong data gathering and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and advanced proficiency with SPSS, Excel, Tableau and/or other data management, analysis, and/or other visualization tools,
• Deep understanding of using raw data to draw insights, including the entirety of the Data & Analytics landscape.
• Experience utilizing multiple BI tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, Domo, Looker, etc. needed
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Capturing clear, comprehensive meeting notes and minutes, as required.
