Lead the team responsible for scheduling filling/packaging operations to ensure the creation & timely execution of an efficient production schedule.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the finished good short-term planning via SAP Planning Module
Analyze the required production plan and partner with key stakeholders to confirm material availability
Work with New Product Commercialization (NPC) to define the supply plan for launches
Check and execute scheduling with consideration to inventory policy and strategy
Schedule filling per designated work centers to achieve optimal equipment output
Validate schedule with production team, make necessary adjustments, challenge execution where required and obtain commitment to schedule
Review execution progress, expedite, adjust and reprioritize and necessary
Report execution status to S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) team
Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders
Production team for execution of production schedule
Material Supply Planning to ensure timely component deliveries
Bulk Planning to ensure accurate timing/alignment of bulk availability
Partnership with S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) for sku prioritization
New Product Commercialization (NPC) to coordinate new launches
QA/QC to follow up on release bulk, components and finished goods
Qualifications & Competencies: (List required or desired education; competencies; experiences; soft & hard skills)
4-year academic degree in relevant field or related job experience
Minimum of 8-9 years of experience in a supply planning role, ideally in a manufacturing or supplier environment in the consumer goods industry.
Proficient user of computerized IT systems – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other associated scheduling, forecasting software packages
Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
6 years of experience working within an ERP/MRP environment at an advanced level
SAP experience is preferred.
End to End Supply Chain Functions and Linkage
In depth understanding of capacity management and production control concepts
Production life cycle management
Thorough knowledge of TQM methodology, their application and their use towards continuous improvements.
