Purchasing Manager

Prinsco has an opportunity for a driven Procurement/Purchasing Manager. We offer a competitive compensation with a base salary from $90,000 to $120,000, plus bonus and a benefits package that includes dental, vision, 100% paid life insurance, and two medical plan options. In addition, we offer a 401k that is matched up to 5% deferred and 100% vested immediately upon participation.

The ideal applicant with be joining the team in Willmar, Minnesota, supporting 20 locations throughout the US:

• Oversee the corporate supply chain processes and standards, driving improvements in costs and contracts.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
• Identify and assess potential suppliers, analyzing their capabilities, performance, and competitiveness as well as analyze market data, competitor information, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in business and a minimum of ten years practical leadership experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Proven negotiations and influencing skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across an organization.
• Professional demeanor with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including analyzing data to reach valid conclusions.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to details and proficient ERP system skills.
• Experience in managing and leading a team of purchasing professionals.
