Business/Function Overview :

This is an exciting opportunity to join FMC as the Corporate IT Department Administrator reporting directly to the Vice President/Chief Information Officer. This position is highly visible and communicates with Executives and their stakeholders both internally and externally. This role is technology driven and the successful candidate must be comfortable using ERP systems and Microsoft Programs such as Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SharePoint. In addition, the candidate must have the ability to quickly learn internal technology platforms to support the leaders in their work.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will perform a full range of complex administrative and general office duties:

  • Develop, review, edit and draft presentations and documentation in collaboration with the CIO and Leadership team; independently research and analyze associated issues and/or compile materials needed for presentation and/or decision-making purposes; composing correspondence as necessary.
  • Create professional and quality documents using Microsoft Office suite.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the CIO’s priorities, needs and role within the organization to appropriately commit their time to those requesting access.
  • Independently prioritize, plan, coordinate and/or oversee logistics for meetings and conferences with individuals and entities internal and external to the company.
  • Maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality and interact appropriately with all levels of the organization.
  • Coordinate the activities of the leadership team, including management of calendars and travel arrangements.
  • Support management of complex and confidential records, including managing SharePoint sites.
  • Financial Support including
    • Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
    • Interface with vendors as needed.
    • Manage financial records, including accounts payable.
    • Assist in creating financial reports and maintaining budgets.
    • Handle financial accruals and prepaid expenses amortization ensuring proper accounting.
    • Create purchase requisitions for external IT spend.
Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree and equivalent experience preferred

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with senior level management
  • Advanced training in Microsoft applications including Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other applications. Experience in SAP is a plus.
  • Proficient skills and experience with SharePoint.
  • Ability to identify problems, collect and analyze information and recommend solutions.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and demonstrated follow-thru in supporting the needs of leadership
  • Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment and to manage multiple projects with sometimes competing priorities
  • Strong customer service disposition
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and identify areas where you can have impact.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to ask critical questions to identify highest priority items and best path forward.
