We’re looking for someone who can help us:
structure, underwrite and execute sponsor-backed debt financings, including leveraged loans and high yield bonds
build financial models and conduct financial analysis for sponsor-backed LBOs, M&A and refinancing
prepare company and industry presentations as well as benchmarking analysis
develop pitch materials focused on capital structure, including financing views, and assist with ongoing financial sponsor coverage efforts
contribute to team and client meetings and discussions
Your team You’ll be working in the Financial Sponsors team in Los Angeles. We are a group within the Investment Bank that is part of Global Banking. We cover private equity firms on the West Coast helping originate, structure, and execute a variety of transactions with a heavy focus on leveraged finance. We provide clients with debt financing, M&A, and capital raising advice through a qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Your expertise
bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a relevant field
prior experience in Financial Sponsors and/or Leveraged Finance Investment Banking or related fields
strong analytical and quantitative skills
solid interpersonal skill and ability to communicate effectively
high attention to detail
slid financial analysis skills, with ability to product accurate presentation material quickly

Salary Information CA, CO, WA and NY based roles: The salary range for this role is $117,500 to $125,000 based on experience, education, and skill level. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For benefits information: ubs.com/usbenefits.
