JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists the Players Club Manager in providing leadership and direction to the Players Club Team Members daily.
  • Is highly skilled in all aspects of the Players Club and ensures the effective enrollment of new members, accurate input of player information into the database in accordance with our data input standards, and the issuance of Players Club Cards.
  • Assists all Team Members and departments in learning the skills necessary to conduct a successful sign-up and consistently sets the example for the rest of the team to emulate.
  • Is diligent in offering guests a membership in the Players Club and assists the Players Club Manager in setting the expectation for the Players Club Team Members.
  • Actively supports all efforts for capturing guest email and phone information at the time of sign up and confirming the accuracy of the information with each guest interaction among the Players Club Team Members.
  • Is responsible to support and conduct Players Club Card sign ups on the gaming floor.
  • Is vigilant in identifying guests not playing with a loyalty card and approaching them in a friendly and helpful manner to encourage the use of the card.
  • Assists in the reprinting of the Players Club Cards for those guests who forgot their card or misplaced it.
  • In the absence of the Players Club Manager, is capable to initiate, track, and report the results of Players Club Card sign-ups to include enrollment, email capture and phone capture at the Players Club.
  • In the absence of the Players Club Manager, provides accurate and timely Players Club Card sign-up information when requested by the Director of Marketing or Senior Leadership of the property.
  • Assists the Players Club Manager in conducting regularly scheduled Team Member huddles at the Players Club.
  • Monitors the flow of work at the Players Club to ensure timely and efficient service is consistently provided to the guest.
  • Evaluates Players Club member status and issues complimentary amenities based upon established Company guidelines.
  • Support the Players Club Team Members in assisting guests, players, and gaming hosts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Addresses guest complaints and inquiries in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Capable at utilizing all player tracking and associated software to support the integrity of the player database.
  • Always informed of current and upcoming promotions, special events and direct mail initiatives and ensures all Ambassadors are held to the same standard.
  • Responsible to assist with the hiring, training, evaluation, and corrective counseling of Players Club Team Members.
  • Assists the Players Club Manager in maintaining proper staffing and scheduling based on business volumes and demands.
  • Ensures the proper opening and closing of the Players Club to include the security of player’s cards and all company assets.
  • Inspects the Players Club area, both front and back of house to ensure observance of safe, organized, and sanitary practices.
  • Immediately research and resolve any malfunctions of equipment, software, or unusual activity to ensure optimum operation and minimal down time.
  • Complies with all departmental policies and procedures and recommends updates to the Player Services Manager.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous management experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Internal candidates must have been in their current position for at least six months and meet eligibility requirements as outlined in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must pass any all required background checks.
