We are actively seeking a Director of Recruiting to join our exceptional and rapidly growing team! The Director of Recruiting will play a pivotal role in Atom's overall mission to attract, engage, and retain the best talent in the world. This position requires a deep understanding of talent acquisition processes, effective management skills, and the ability to align recruitment efforts with Atom's goals and culture. As the Director of Recruiting, you'll be at the helm of building a top-tier, high-performing recruiting team that will grow and shape the future of Atom.

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Source, attract, and onboard top talent for related technologies, specifically Oracle Cloud (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS).
  • Build a winning talent acquisition strategy by staying ahead of business needs to proactively search for a diverse pool of top industry talent using various recruiting methods (direct sourcing, internal recruitment, web-based, print media, social media).
  • Plan, develop, and direct processes to attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, and other pro-active sourcing methods.
  • Develop and enhance Atom’s existing policies and procedures within the recruiting division.
  • Execute creative recruiting strategies to position Atom as the preferred employer.
  • Evaluate and communicate key metrics to develop appropriate recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure positions are filled efficiently and effectively.
  • Directly oversee recruitment for senior level and executive positions.
  • Provide executive level input to strategic decisions that affect the functionality area of responsibility.
  • Assess external labor market conditions and develop the most impactful, economical, and appropriate recruiting channels.
  • Ensure all recruiting activities remain consistent with the Atom’s policies and standards.
  • Develop, implement, and manage full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Establish departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and manage staffing metrics and trends.
  • Manage a team ensuring they are being developed and challenged while delivering high quality candidates to Hiring Managers.
  • Meet with members of the management team to have a full-scale understanding of hiring needs, available positions within the company and preferred attributes for potential hires.
  • Assess and evaluate company employment needs in collaboration with the Senior Leadership team at Atom.
  • Screen selected candidates for validation of skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge in relation to position requirements using standardized behavioral-based interview/screening techniques.
  • Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization.
  • Post positions, execute sourcing strategies, screen/submit candidates and conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders to ensure effective fulfillment of requisitions in timely manner.
  • Develop a selective pool of qualified candidates as required by the position using sourcing strategies such as active candidate sourcing, utilization of existing ATS, and employment of innovative methodologies to fulfill open positions.
  • Utilize tools to build and maintain a candidate pipeline such as job boards, job fairs, social media, networking.
  • Work as a key member in supporting the company’s Diversity Initiatives with a focus on networking and talent acquisition.
  • Seek opportunities to remove obstacles and implement complex and unique recruiting approaches.
  • Ensure efficiency with processes such as compliance, offer negotiation, etc.
  • Create and maintain strong networking relationships with internal customers and external talent sources. Desire to enhance existing network to find qualified passive candidates by attending networking events on behalf of Atom.


Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Strong interpersonal skills and self-awareness with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in full lifecycle recruiting and sourcing in related field.
  • High EQ with the ability to communicate articulately and effectively.
  • 10 years of experience and success recruiting in a company with fast growth and/or 5 years of management experience.
  • Consultative mindset and ability to analyze and solve client challenges.
  • Highly organized and able to switch priorities daily.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage recruiting operations.
  • Experience in full lifecycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding.
  • An undergraduate degree with strong academic achievement required.
