Our Private Equity backed company/client, recently invigorated by a new Private Equity sponsor, is poised for significant growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. This pivotal phase presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the exciting "phase two" of our growth journey.

Role Overview: The Director of Business Transformation is crucial to our future success, providing strategic insights and leadership across all business facets. This role offers substantial exposure to private equity investors, company executives, and leaders from Operations, IT, Finance, and HR.

• Process Improvement

• Stakeholder Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Analysis: Conduct thorough operational and financial data analyses to develop hypotheses on performance drivers, especially for complex, cross-functional decisions.
• Transformation Planning: Translate pain points, observations, current state processes, and KPIs into clearly scoped opportunities for strategic transformation projects.
• Impact Estimation: Estimate the financial value and operational impact of transformation projects, specifying value levers and how outcomes will affect the company P&L.
• Project Leadership: Lead projects and teams through the PMO framework, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Executive Communication: Hold regular Steering Committee meetings with executive sponsors to communicate progress, escalate issues, make critical decisions, and advance through stage gates.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree (MBA or in a quantitative field such as economics, operations research, statistics, data science, computer science) preferred.
• Professional Experience: 6-10 years of experience, including 3 years in managerial roles within consulting, strategy, analytics, continuous improvement, operations planning, or program management.
• Project Leadership: Proven experience leading multiple large-scale projects, particularly those involving technology deployment, process improvement, or integrating sophisticated analytics into strategic decisions.
• Global Operations: Experience operating on a global scale.
• Team Management: Skilled in managing consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the logistics or aviation industries is preferred.
