Position Purpose To serve as the first point of contact for Geisel’s MD and health science programs admissions, creating a welcoming experience for applicants and fostering a positive sense of connection with the programs and school. To interact with applicants, committee members, visitors, prospective students, and faculty and staff throughout Geisel by planning and implementing events and activities that support achievement of admissions and enrollment goals.

Key Accountabilities
Description
With minimal guidance, responds appropriately to applicant and admitted students’ questions, effectively delivering information about the programs and enhancing the reputation of the school.
Percentage Of Time 20%
Description
In partnership with Admissions Directors, coordinates logistics for complex in-person and virtual admissions interview processes and recruitment events, including recruiting committee members, managing the interview scheduling, and supporting and participating in group presentations and recruitment fairs.
Percentage Of Time 25%
Description
Manages data and content within application software programs (e.g., Slate, AMP ), including prospective and current student data management, event communication logistics, application workflows, office hours and event scheduling.
Percentage Of Time 20%
Description
Ensures public information about Geisel admissions is up-to-date by maintaining information on websites and external organization profiles (e.g., Handshake, CareerEco, APHA ).
Percentage Of Time 10%
Description
Supports general admissions operations, including strategic planning of marketing campaigns, recruitment events, and yield initiatives. Identifies areas of improvement and offers data-driven recommendations.
Percentage Of Time 10%
Description
Collaborates with Geisel students and alumni throughout the applications cycle to ensure there are volunteer hosts and tour guides, connecting prospective students with current students and alumni when appropriate.

Description
Assists incoming students with prematriculation questions and serves as a source of information about Hanover and the Upper Valley.

Description
Supports effective office operations by ordering admissions supplies, managing mailings and maintaining relevant admissions office calendars.
