Artemis Human Capital has been exclusively retained by an innovative business to appoint an experienced and motivated Financial Controller for an initial 6 month contract to help with a period of transition. Working alongside the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will undertake a broad and hands-on role managing the finance function and ensuring all reports are accurate and timely.

The Role

  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare insightful financial reports, including management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
  • Partner with the leadership team to provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations
  • Financial analysis
  • Involvement in ad-hoc projects

The Person

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant. QBE will also be considered
  • Ability to hit the ground running
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organised and able to manage a busy workload
  • Experience of using Xero will be highly beneficial
  • Must be available to commence work within one month
