Q-EHS Manager

Description - External

• Development, implementation, and monitoring of health, occupational safety, and environmental processes and strategies for the development and manufacturing site in Berlin of FPI GmbH.
• Consulting and support of the local management team, particularly in the areas of occupational and environmental protection, such as planning, execution, and maintenance of operational facilities, workplace design, workflow, and work environment.
• Conducting regular inspections and effectiveness checks of workplaces and working conditions, as well as tracking measures to eliminate any deficiencies.
• Investigation, recording, and analysis of the causes of work accidents and the development of measures to prevent these accidents.
• Development and maintenance of documentation for the occupational safety management system.
• Preparation of regular reports.
• Determination of training needs for employees and the creation and implementation of training sessions concerning occupational safety, environmental protection, and emergency management.
• Creation of risk assessments, safety analyses, and operational instructions.
• Support in conducting internal audits in the area of EHS and ISO9001 as well as related standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 17025 and others).
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements in occupational and environmental protection as well as product conformity (WEEE, ROHS, REACH, etc.).
• Responsible QMB (Quality Management Representative) of the company.
• Responsible for the implementation of all ISO9001 and subsequent standards and guidelines, e.g., organizing a unified quality management manual, aligning and continuously reviewing the processes contained therein, both in the context of the parent company (Fluke Corp.) and all local processes and so-called "best practices."
• Organization and leading accompaniment of the annual ISO9001 certification, contact person for the auditor in all matters related to the audit.
• Conducting supplier evaluations.

Area of Responsibility:

• The head of the quality assurance department (QA) reports to the EHS-Q Manager.
• Responsible for environmental protection, health protection, and occupational safety.
• Coordination of fire safety officers and safety officers.
• Continuous personnel development, including conducting performance appraisals - semi-annually.
• Ensuring compliance with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001 within the area of responsibility.
• Contribution to the adherence to development plans in technical, economic, and scheduling aspects.
• Ensuring future-oriented product quality.
• Project-specific support for the department's development plans.
• Authority to make decisions within the framework of the applicable rules of procedure and signature regulations.

Qualifications - External

Qualifications:

• Degree as an engineer (University, Technical University, or University of Applied Sciences).
• 2 years of professional experience in occupational safety, environmental protection, quality management in a technology or industrial company.
• Qualification as a specialist for occupational safety is desired.
• Experience in the implementation and certification of environmental and safety management systems.
• Experience in quality, change, and risk management is desired.
• Experience in an international working environment as well as organizational talent.
• Good English skills, both written and spoken, are mandatory.
• Good German skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in using MS Office applications.
