Our Audit-Tech Team in a nut-shell

We are a small team within the Corporate Audit, the internal unit for audits within the E.ON group. We develop and execute data and process analyses using cutting-edge software in areas such as energy trading, procurement, grids, and sales for all countries where E.ON is active. Additionally, we develop new systems in a start-up style to digitize the "good old audit industry," including the digitalization of the audit workflow, AI assistance, robots for process automatization, and new data analytics tools.

We are looking for you to join our team taking responsibility for:

  • Developing and executing data analyses for audits and fraud investigations in close collaboration with auditors/investigators
  • Setting up and managing connections to groupwide database systems and data lakes
  • Identifying data models of complex processes in various databases and transforming them into datasets for specific analytics
  • Setting up and training ML & NLP models for analyzing unstructured/structured data and solving complex business problems
  • Digitizing the audit process by automating tasks, integrating AI (AI-audit assistant), developing user interfaces, implementing ML tools, and working on ambitious projects such as fully automated end-to-end auditing


Your capabilities fit perfectly if you have available:

  • University Degree: A degree in data science/data analysis, computer science, mathematics, economics, or engineering.
  • Python Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using Python for data analysis, including proficiency in essential libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and others.
  • Generative AI Frameworks: Experience in integrating and utilizing Generative AI frameworks within Python workflows.
  • Large Language Models (LLM): Expertise in employing Large Language Models, particularly via Python API, for advanced data analysis tasks. Experience in fine-tuning and deploying Generative AI models like GPT for specific audit-related tasks.
  • SQL Proficiency: Strong command over SQL, with a focus on extracting and manipulating data from diverse data sources.
  • Data Visualization: Experience in utilizing visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikSense or Tableau for insightful data representation.
  • Model Deployment: Experience in deploying Generative AI models in production environments for automated audit procedures is a strong plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps is advantageous.
  • SAP Experience: Experience with SAP is considered a valuable asset – not a must - enhancing proficiency in navigating complex enterprise data environments.
