The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations for our products. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in supply chain management, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive process improvements. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with various departments, including engineering, program management, procurement, production, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure the timely and cost-effective selection and delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s objectives and growth plans.
Manage and optimize the entire supply chain process, from sourcing, RFPs and procurement,production and distribution, to follow up inspections/quality control.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, establish partnerships, and ensure a reliable supply of materials and components.
Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory management practices to minimize costs and reduce waste.
Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of products.
Implement and maintain robust demand forecasting and planning processes to align production with customer requirements.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve overall performance.
Develop and manage budgets for supply chain activities, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
Utilize data analytics and supply chain software to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate actionable insights.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the supply chain team and internal customers.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management.
Proven track record of managing end-to-end supply chain operations and driving process improvements.
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies, including ERP systems and supply chain management software.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
