This role will support all engagement efforts beyond the first year of membership. Furthermore, this role will be responsible for executing member-centric campaigns with a focus on building loyal, long-term BJ’s Members, across our 5 million and growing membership base. The role will collaborate with the First Year Member Engagement team to ensure a seamless transition for our new members progressing to tenured and ensuring on time renewal. Also, this person will collaborate cross-functionally throughout the organization, with key partners including Creative, Analytics, IT and Brand Marketing.
You will be responsible for the following:
Coordinate, plan and prioritize execution of tactics driven by the strategic tenured roadmap. Think of marketing touches holistically across channels (Direct Mail, Email, Digital, POS, and in-club membership desk, to name a few)
Drive and own the creative execution process, from creative concept to routing creative to releasing final creative assets
Manage campaign timeline, ensuring milestones are met.
Escalate issues and blockers as needed, working to efficiently resolve
Build and iterate on past and current campaigns while brainstorming innovative and new campaign ideas
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive tactical execution
Work with field teams and club operations to implement marketing programs
Have a ‘test and learn’ mindset across BJ’s and our cross-functional partners
Track campaign performance to share with manager and cross-functional teams
Experience needed:
5 years marketing experience. Experience in a retail or membership environment a plus.
Ability to balance creativity and innovation with an analytical mindset
Passion for working across teams with the ability to influence and prioritize
Strong project management experience and ability to multi-task
Strong communication and analytical skills necessary
