As the Senior Manager, Educator Advocacy, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy and growth of our customer advocacy program. Your primary focus will be attracting, engaging, and retaining advocates who will enthusiastically promote our industry-leading game-based-learning platform to other educators. You will be responsible for nurturing relationships with our most passionate users and providing them with incentives and tools to evangelize their love for our platform via direct outreach to peer teachers in their schools and local communities, social media amplification, and participation in broader education

The estimated annual base salary for this role is $80,000 to $120,000 USD. This position is also eligible for variable pay.

Your Impact

  • Design and implement a comprehensive strategy to attract, engage, and retain advocates for our edtech platform. This includes defining program goals, defining an advocate value proposition to attract teachers to our program, identifying key metrics for success, and establishing processes for measuring and tracking program effectiveness.
  • Identify potential advocates among our existing highly engaged customer base and develop strategies to recruit them into our advocacy program. Utilize data-driven insights to target educators who are most likely to become enthusiastic advocates for our platform.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with advocates through regular communications, personalized support, and recognition of their contributions. Provide advocates with resources, training and incentives to help them effectively promote our platform to their peers. Implement recognition programs to reward and motivate teacher advocates, enhancing their ability to promote Prodigy within their networks.
  • Ensure our advocates gain early insight into and professional development support to learn about new Prodigy offerings. Create forums for advocates to provide us feedback on new features and on our program overall to support continuous product improvement.
  • Coordinate advocacy activities such as organic social media campaigns, testimonials, case studies, and speaking opportunities at industry events and encourage advocate engagement in our broader public-facing teacher communities. Work closely with our marketing, educator enablement, and communications teams to amplify the voices of our advocates and maximize their impact.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of the advocacy program and assess the impact of advocacy activities on key business metrics such as customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness. Use insights gathered to iterate on program strategies and tactics.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams across the organization, including marketing, educator enablement and product to align our advocacy efforts with overall business objectives and to maximize the benefits gained by and from our advocates.

About You

  • 7-10 years of experience with a focus in customer advocacy, community management, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful advocacy programs that drive measurable growth in customer acquisition, engagement and retention.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and nurture advocates at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and measure the impact of advocacy initiatives.
  • Indirect leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for education and a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of teachers and educators.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with CRM systems, data analytics, and engagement scoring models.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Education, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in the EdTech industry
